Counseling

Hello Tally Eagles!  I am Tami Bocanegra and I am truly blessed to be the school counselor here at Tally Elementary.  I have been in education for 21 years.  For many of those years, I taught third grade reading and second grade self-contained.  Tally Elementary uses The Texas Model for Comprehensive School Counseling Programs.  My role is to provide education, prevention, and intervention to all students to achieve academic success.  I also help to develop their intrapersonal and interpersonal skills so they can become critical thinkers and problem solvers.
